Brian grew up in Waskada, MB and was a trustee of Benson, SK Rural School Board and president of Benson Recreational Co-op Association before he and his wife moved to Fort Qu'Appelle 15 years ago. He believes his professional experience as Senior General Chairman for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is going to be an asset moving Fort Qu'Appelle forward.

Matthew moved to Fort Qu'Appelle a year ago and works for Fries Tallman. "Fort Qu'Appelle could be so much more than a retirement community. It is a beautiful place; a lot of people want to move here and raise their family."
Councillor Jann Cyr

Jann grew up in Fort Qu'Appelle and she considers this her home. She brings with her an array of administrative and counselling experiences. Jann will share her First Nations values she learned and is still learning, to help out where she can for our Municipality.
Councillor Marcy Johnson

Marcy is currently the Assistant Administrator for the R.M. of McKillop. Marcy has a bit of history in municpal experience, including working for the Provincial Government's Municipal Advisory Services.
Councillor Alysia Pletz

Alysia is a paramedic who grew up in Fort Qu'Appelle and is an established community voluneteer with several organizations. She brings an informed option to the Council table.
Councillor Ron Shordee

Ron has lived in Fort Qu'Appelle for over 35 years and was the store manager for the SAAN store for 22 years. He also annouces the Fort Knox Junior B hockey games. Ron is a returning council member and currently sits on the Living Sky Community Development Board along with the East Central Transporation Planning committee and the Senior Centre.

Rebecca who works for the R.M. of North Qu'Appelle #187 says she wants to "bring the town out the 1990's. Everything has been the same for the last 30 years. We can do better."
